Page 2: Pies, Baking, and NUPTIALS?

What a week, I had the distinct pleasure of working with some amazing people, toss baking ideas around, and immortalize a special moment. It was a big week for a passion of mine: Product Photography! I’ve always love it because of the creative control and freedom it gives you. In every other form of photography, there is a, at times, daunting amount of factors that a photographer cannot control. Be it a model making their own choices in a shoot or the weather laughing at your hubris. In product photography, the photographer gets to play around and have more agency in the shoot.

With that said, the excitement of the run-and-gun nature of say photographing a wedding?!

So lets get into the good stuff!

Working with Chef TJ Terry to show off the deliciousness of Ollie’s Pies Strawberry Rhubarb Pie! I had a blast dressing the set for this one! the photo. Ollie’s Pies are the best I’ve ever had and I hope the photo looks half as good as it tastes. Order yours at https://www.olliespies.com/store and try one out!

Later in the week I spent a morning with Hilton Village’s very own Megan Ariano of Spuntini Fame. This small-batch artisan has never failed to impress! The creativity that she brings to baking is next level! It was a privilege to spend time in the kitchen watching her and her husband, Andy, experiment with new ideas and apply them with delicate precision! Exchanging ideas about how to push flavors was an absolute blast.

Closing out the week was something special: I shot my first wedding! Congratulations to Katie and Curtis Anthony! What a frenetic day this was, from contending with the weather to dashing from location to location, it was an incredible time!

Now for the bonus! I got a new light in the post and had to try it out, and what better way than to take a new picture of the only thing I seem to take pictures of when I get new lights~~

I am not complex.
